Hi, my name is Izaya — welcome to my website. I’m an actor–musician based in New York, and I’m grateful you’re here. This space is a look into the work I love to do: storytelling through music, movement, and character. Feel free to explore my reels, photos, and recent projects — and thank you for taking the time to get to know my work.
I come from a classical vocal background, and that training is really at the heart of how I work. It taught me discipline, breath, stamina, and how to lead with both precision and emotion. It also gave me a deep appreciation for the worlds of theatre and music — the kind of storytelling that asks you to show up fully, stay curious, and stay honest. Whether I’m in a musical, an actor–musician project, or something more contemporary, I bring that same foundation and love for the craft into every room.
Some of my favorite recent experiences include Into the Woods as the Narrator/Bassist, Oklahoma!, Clue, and a range of concerts and actor–musician work around New York. I’m especially drawn to roles that let me blend music and character — playing bass live, shaping a story through vocal color, or building an ensemble world with other artists. Each project teaches me something new, and I’m excited for whatever comes next.
